I'm glad I keep stumbling upon projects Tape has been involved in through the years, as their collaborative works for me are among their best. Following on from 2007's Tan-Tan Therapy, Tenniscoats and Tape continue with their great blend of post-rock ambience, lo-fi folk and soft vocal passages, that make for peaceful easy-listening afternoons. Throwing in the 2008 Lutie Lutie / Come Maddalena 7" as two bonus tracks is also a nice touch. Xtra Happy

My god, what an absolutely incredible Suite. I'll admit, I've struggled to get into Pharoah Sanders due to diving headfirst into some of his most challenging catalogue and that never worked. This is the perfect place to restart. Floating Points is new for me and I can honestly say I've never heard synthesizer music this lush and organic before. the LSO is just perfect. This is one of those albums that any serious music fan needs in their life. The perfect swan song for the great Pharaoh! 5/5 ClassyMusicSnob

Hearing Tape's sweeping post-rock tones backed by soft vocals makes for lovely laid-back listening. Surprised it took me so long to find out Tan-Tan Therapy and Papa's Ear existed, but both of these collaboration albums strike a great mix between calming lo-fi folk ambience and upbeat carefree pop.
